FLP Produktion as example for "global health"

34 scientists doing research on global health visited recently a FLP farm to learn more about FLP production as an example of how to organize work procedures in an healthy, socially resonsible and environmentally friendly way. The international team has participants from 17 different countries coming from universities, NGOs and governmental organisations in South-, Middle and North America as well as from different African countries. They are part of the Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research and met in Ecuador due to an expert seminar in colaboration with the Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar .

The team was introduced by the local FLP coordinator with a presentation of FLP Guidelines. After a short tour on the farm the group seperated into three specialized teams researching on site on about specific in the areas of health, society and environment.
